Roads, beach conditions, accommodation prices, wildlife accessibility, and daily comfort all change dramatically between seasons. Choosing when to go is one of the most important trip planning decisions.

Dry Season (November-April) — The Classic Choice

The Harmattan wind from the Sahara brings cool, dry air. Temperatures 22-34°C. Humidity drops. Roads dry out. Beaches are at their finest. Wildlife viewing is best as animals concentrate near water sources.
